African flower hexagon

I'm playing around with some crochet patterns to try and decide what to make. There are so many patterns available on the web that it is difficult to decide what to do. The youtube videos are great too - like having a knowledgable granny on tap. 

This is the first few rounds of an African flower crochet hexagon. This is one of my practice goes and is not quite right.
