Not a Barn Owl

Sunday 8th March 2015         (backblip)

It was a rather miserable damp day ...... so instead of our usual trip into the countryside ...... we decided to go to Springfields for a look round the shops.

The rain had cleared when we left ..... so we decided to take the 'scenic' route home. Saw these wind turbines ....... took a shot 'just in case' I didn't get anything else! Good thing I did :-)

As were were nearly home we saw a Barn Owl hunting over the field right next to the road ........ so Hubby turned round in a lane end ....... bad idea ....... we picked up a screw which embedded itself in the tyre!!!!! Big bummer!!! Plus the Owl had flown off by then!!!!!

So when we got home we had to put the spare tyre on & we'll have to get it sorted properly in the next couple of days!!! :-(
