Eh well...

Best laid plans and all that. I haven't managed to finish the hat today although I did make up the water lily and started knitting. However I had cakes to make, penguins to finish (nearly) and teddies to complete (not as nearly as the penguins but getting there).

And now it is 5pm and my son has just stepped off a train in Manchester so I must go and make something for us to eat this evening.

Maybe another day, another hat. We shall see.
