Well that's creepy...

A few days stuck in the cave getting a review project finalised - so it was lovely to wake to blue skies instead of the forecast gales - but even by the time breakfast was over it was on the turn.
Dressed & out the door with pooch we decided to make the most of what weather we had and take the fell track across to Sunbiggin Tarn - a quick energetic six miles should have kept us warm - but the wind was bitter & even our brisk pace did little to help.
We saw a herd of Roe bouncing like antelopes across the moor - a couple of Herons - one flying one stalking the bank - and Pushka's behaviour told me there were  mices & voles galore.

But then we got right out onto the common - and found this - we didn't do it (honest) it was just there - on a pole - looking, well creepy. Checking for weirdo's I grabbed a Blip (well it was crying out to be done) & then, at an even brisker pace - we set off for the relative civilisation of Orton.
