Further Cleaning Up

As a result of all the external work above the balcony, much debris had dropped through the grating onto the metal roof below it and needed clearing up.  Removing the grating and sweeping it was out of the question (too much work), so a high pressure hose was used to wash sometimes quite large pieces of debris down the roof and into the gutter.  The gutter was then cleaned very easily from above and everything ended up nice and clean.

Today’s blip was taken by Susan (Mrs GOG) of me brushing the lead flashing, between hosing down, to get the fine debris off of it.
