Chariots of Fire

I spent the morning doing chores, and about 3/4 hour getting the road bike ready for the Sunday bike ride.

In the afternoon I went down to Morningside. At Holy Corner, one of the churches has this window. It is an iconic image of Eric Liddell winning a race. Although the detail of the image is not there, the lead outlines give impression of movement.

Now I'm off to the Eric Liddell centre to lend some moral support to my partner who has a stall the craft fair.
