Alms Houses

We had a very pleasant long weekend in North Wales, based in the town of Ruthin (if you go, stay at the Manorhaus Hotel - a beautiful place with great service and wonderful food). As you do on a break, we saw so many interesting things that it's difficult to pick one for Blipfoto (one of the challenges and frustrations of the Blipper). It has also been such wonderful weather since we got back home that being outside was a much better option than being at the computer. At least we picked the right week to be off work.

This pic is the range of Almshouses by St Peter's Church in Ruthin, originally endowned by Gabriel Goodman in 1590, and rebuilt as we see them here in 1865.
