Human Power

The construction of our new volleyball courts is progressing well. This morning on one of my regular visits I watched with fascination as an army of workers formed what I assume will be roof panels. This machine took flat stock from a huge roll and formed it into a channeled piece at least 20 meters long. Then that piece was returned through the other side of the machine to bend and dimple it into the finished product. Instead of a bunch of equipment, as would be typical in the United States, human labor was unitized here to support and move the massive metal pieces. Can't wait to see how they will get them the necessary 15 meters into the air when they set them on the recently poured concrete posts.
