Wide Angle Wednesday: Leading Lines

Thanks to Hobbs for hosting the second Wide Angle Wednesday Challenge.

My friend Roger, Carly the Retriever and I resumed our Wednesday walks today with a stroll around Montacute. This is the main avenue in the grounds of Montacute House.

It's easy to imagine the Phelips family, who owned the house from the 16th Century onwards, and their guests enjoying a canter or gallop along here on a morning such as this.

Popped in to see Tess's Dad this afternoon. He was encouragingly perky, having enjoyed the performance of a singer with a repertoire of Rat Pack songs who entertained the residents this morning, and looking forward to an outing to a garden centre tomorrow.

Following on from yesterday's blip, Bristol City were restricted to a 3-0 win against Yeovil last night, which was pretty much par for the course.
