End of season rose

Trying out my macro filters on an end of season rose in my neighbours garden that has got very tall. The trees in the street form a background.
This is stacking the +4 and+2. Could be sharper.
When I do macro with filters do I use the macro setting on the camera as well or is it not necessary?
