At work, I've been using the Blip of a year ago, as the daily desktop for my computer. When I looked to see what the photo was for a year ago today, I was somewhat taken aback by the difference between the same scene this year. "I cycled up that hill today, and there wasn't a leaf on the trees!"

Thinking back to last year, and April was glorious, so things were at least a week earlier than normal (May was miserable). This year, despite a Summer like week at the end of March, it's been cold Northerly winds for weeks. I reckon Spring is about two weeks behind normal this year - as far as plant growth is concerned.

Made a point of Blipping it on the way home this evening.
