Life through the lens...

Where the boats come in.

I don't think this view of Newlyn has changed much over the years, so I thought today's photo in sepia was appropriate.

We woke to a misty morning.
However it hasn't stopped us enjoying today.
Had a walk round Newlyn  harbour, before lunch at the Tolcarne Inn.
See Here
A lovely old inn built in 1717.
Big roaring fire to welcome us.
I had my favourite fish soup, rouille, and crostini, followed by the best delicate pear and almond tart, with a big dollop of clotted cream, and vanilla custard.
Mr C chose Beer battered Pollock, hand cut chips and homemade tartare sauce.

Spent this afternoon having a walk round Porthleven, and looking in all the galleries. So many wonderful paintings, pottery, and crafts etc.

Can't believe there is only one day left!
