The Wild Wild West

By Beedoesthis

A town called Alice

A change of location....

From the stickiness and er... fairly continuous rain (being damp has become a fact of life...) - to an increase in heat and a bit further west.

Gave the car back, got on a plane, and gaped out of the window at some of the most spectacular landscape it is possible to see. I mean there is NO ONE out there, and the landscape bears all the scars of geological formation  - rivers must once have flowed in abundance, mountains formed by entire sheets of the earth's crust crashing into each other, and miraculously there is grass and tree growth in this seemingly arid land. And even the of sign of a road or landing strip.

Truly awe-inspiring.

So I'm here in Alice. All to go and look at a rock.
