Calling Out To The Ladies...

There's been a new sound in the air over the last week here in the forest, and for once it's not avian...

The red stags of the local deer farms are all starting to feel a little, er, frisky shall we say. And they want to shout about it. A lot.

Needless to say,  the girls just look bemused half the time. Sound familiar? ;-)

Tomorrow (or should that be later today?) I've got a field trip with Focus (the Timaru Camera Club) to the Botanic Gardens in Timaru. Should be good if the weather plays nice. I feel some macro coming on...
