Heron

I went out around 10am this morning, having waited to see if the day would brighten up; this wasn't to be and neither did it warm up -  my fingers were numb with cold by the time I finished my walk.  Looking out of the window now (4pm) there's weak sunshine and the sky is blue, but no matter.

I saw quite a few Herons today and so my blip has been a bit of a foregone conclusion;  this is my first Heron and so I'm rather pleased to have captured one as it's been such a long time in coming. :-))

Rumours re Blip:- Just in case the worst happens, I'm on freyjad@sky.com and would love to hear from anyone as to where they will put their photos, blip meets etc.
