Well I’ve just posted my 300th blip, and this got me thinking that perhaps it was time to “introduce” myself to my many blip friends.

I’m married to Jack, we have 3 grown up daughters and in my working life I was the Finance Director of a carpet manufacturing company.  Since retiring, photography has become a big part of my life;  I’m always planning the next shot, trying to understand the technicalities and then the best bit  - (usually, but not always) enjoying the results.
I find Blipfoto a very warm and supportive community, and I value the friendships I‘ve made here -  albeit that they are at a distance;  I really hope that Blipfoto can survive and carry on without too many changes.

Here’s to the next 300 and beyond. :-))

May 2018
Since completing my first year’s Blipping I’ve tried to learn as much as I can about photography.   Blippers are a real font of knowledge and they're  always willing to help, I’ve also learnt much through reading and watching utube videos.  Last year I gained an LRPS distinction from the Royal Photographic Society and a diploma from the Photography Institute. I don’t know what the next step will be but I do know how important it is to me to be part of this unique community
