Alpine Flower Wonderland.

Today was the day of our regional Alpine Flower Show.
It is a wonderful occasion and it was a great success.
For a blipper it gives a dilemma. There are some hundred superb plants in flower. The choice of showing an individual plant or a scene of the show hall with the remarkable cushion plants and the dozens of other varieties was a difficult one. But this medal winning Cyclamen won in the end.

The icing on the cake came when we found that Mrs.K. Had won a Gold medal for her photographic display of the Orchids of South Lakeland. And she hadn't even realised that it was a competitive class.
