James, not the Blipper

Mark came today and finished off the patio. Now all we need is some cobbles and gravel for the edges, though it has edging stones on two sides, and some furniture e.g. pots, swing chair, barbecue etc.

This evening we went to a charity skittles evening in Evesham organised by Jo’s daughter, Emily.  This was to raise money for the Garage Art Group.
This is taken from their web site:
Welcome to the Garage Art Group which aims to promote health and well being through the mediums of painting, drawing and textile art.
We have groups twice a day from Monday to Friday catering for all members of society including special needs and those people suffering from a low point in their lives. Many sessions are also available to the general public.
From beginners to accomplished artists you will be sure of a warm welcome.

My contribution to the actual skittles playing was dismal, in fact our team came bottom in the competition; though I did win a haircut in the raffle, so some consolation.

James was the official photographer, anything to get out of playing; here is a portrait of him in his Terry Pratchett hat.
