The Buttercross Belles

The only other lady on my photography course happens to be a Morris Dancer.... LOVE that!  I've always loved a Morris Dancer, just love their folky dancing, hanky waving and jingle bell clogs!  She's part of the Buttercross Belles.. based in Otley and she told me they'd be dancing at Bolton Abbey today so I popped along for a little while... just for the whoo hooness and to practice my shutter speeds.
A bit disappointed with my composition on all my photos but don't you just love their outfits and the purple violin! 
A bitter sweet mother's day... always missing Mum, and so sad that 2 of my 3 are down South but Jess has cooked an amazing meal this evening.. just need 15 mins to make way for pud! :)
