Jim's daffs

When friend and colleague Jim died before his time in 2010, his daughter gave everyone at his memorial a pot of daffs, his favourite flowers.  For the last couple of years they have been in the allotment and are amongst the first splashes of colour to appear at this time of year.  They are particularly welcome on a gloomy day like today, just like Jim's dry humour brightened up stressful times.
