Spring chickens

The drive down to the Channel tunnel was not pleasant in that there were hold ups on the M11 and a lot of spray.  I nearly missed the signs to pay for the Dartford Crossing within 24 hours or face a £70 fine.  Does everyone have a computer and internet connection? The other payment options are not easy. I can imagine problem scenarios with people catching planes to go on holiday and then not being able to pay or foreign tourists having problems in hire cars and so on.  The weather changed on the other side of the Channel and Paris was bathed in 19 degrees of sunshine. It was good to see the chickens on arrival scratching in the garden among the daffodils.
