"Taking a passport photo" was accepted without further questioning, and I was able to proceed after a quick cuddle. At some point we're going to have to try and get a photo of him which can be used with a passport. Hopefully we won't need to before he grows out of adopting his monkey posture, doing his nautilus impression or sticking out his tongue (or occasionally frowning, when he doesn't want his picture taken). It might have to be done by leaving the camera capturing video then extracting a suitable frame.
