Between Cultures

(SO relieved to get the update from Joe today...)

This is the Dutch couple we've been staying with - though we've communicated mostly in Portuguese... They've been here for almost 28 years - a lot of wisdom to share. And this is the UMM 4x4 we got a ride to Montemor-o-Novo in, from where we got the bus back to Évora.

It's rained most of today and been quite cold - the rain was much needed and folk hoping for more. Spent the afternoon and evening with the Brazilian family here in their flat - drinking guaraná and eating pudim, amongst other things.
