Quod oculus meus videt

I don't do this for just anyone.........

Heck, things are moving fast at the moment.  Hard to take everything in but at least there is increased hope.  I hope members will be able to appreciate that what happened to Blipfoto Limited was none of Polaroid's making.  Had they come on board earlier it might have made a difference but in the end it was too late.  Most investment had come from outside sources and not the membership subscription.

I found this article in The Scotsman very interesting.  From what the Chairman, Ian RItche, is quoted as saying the Polaroid re branding was to try and increase membership.

He said: “Because of that [lack of additional membership income] some other funding that was due to come in was no longer available and the company found itself in a position where it could not continue trading. The loyalty of members was very strong, but we didn’t have enough of them.”

Imagine the board's feelings when there was so much irritation expressed by the members of the changes that took place around Christmas.  We were kicking them when they were almost down and out.

Let's not make the same mistake twice!
