Drifting Around

Unfortunately our time at the chalet this weekend was only fleeting. Basically cleaning up after the last visitors (who left the place in a very good condition) and getting it ready for our tenants next weekend. The only consolation was that the weather in the south-west was wet (showery and a bit cooler) this morning compared with the rest of the country that's still in the middle of a heat wave. We'll be back towards the end of next month for a few days over my birthday. Yippee!

As we often do, we stopped off at Clevedon on the way home. We had left the rain behind and the place was buzzing.

We took a walk with Dylan along the sea (river) front and dropped down onto a little beach neglected by most people and a favourite place for Dylan to go scavenging.

All of the beaches at Clevedon are stony, this one particularly so. The coast line is thick with seaweed and driftwood litters the place. All very interesting with small rock pools up on the higher rocks. This is where today's blip photo was taken.
