'It Ain't Half Hot Mum'

These Mondays come around very quickly; it seems like only a week ago I was at the shop. It was HOT. Even with all the windows and the door open, the shop was hot; in fact the only cool place I discovered was the loo.

So here's Monday's book related blip. Where else would you find Ken Livingstone rubbing shoulders with Nelson Mandela? And as a bonus (especially for Roz, who froze her socks off on the top deck of one of these buses travelling out to Mary Arden's House, Wilmcote many years ago) here's an open top tourist bus. Normally they're taking photos of us, this time the tables turned. Actually if you look closely (see large) you can see there are only two people at the back on the top of the bus, even though it was a scorcher today, and they both look more like bouncers than tourists ;)
