Destitution Road

This ornate gate, in the middle of a barren wilderness, leads to mountain trails off the Destitution Road. It is completely out of place but I felt that it fitted the bill for the Wide Angle Wednesday, Foreground Interest challenge,  hosted by Hobbs.

Mr E and I drove North to Scourie today, to see fellow blipper Croft16, G and Tanni. We were once again made to feel very welcome and although P was very busy with his new greenhouse, he took the time to show us around the croft, whilst G made some gorgeously strong coffee.

Before returning back to Gairloch, we gave the dogs a run on the beautiful beach there.
