Into the blue

Took a day off today, and it was lovely and sunny.   Noticed all the buds forming on this shrub against a backdrop of a lovely blue sky.  
However, apart from venturing out into the garden, the only time I went out was to look for inserts for kitchen taps!  Gosh what an exciting life I lead!
Bet it is cloudy tomorrow and we won't be able to see the eclipse!
