Nell Bank

I retired from full time teaching over six years ago but still teach groups of children at the same school two days each week.
After doing those two days I feel as tired as I used to at the end of a school week on a Friday! Don't know how todays teachers are now expected to work until they're 67, it's a tough job.
Today is a day off for me but I volunteered to help my daughter (also a teacher) on a trip she had organised for 60 Year 2 children.
We only went about 15 miles away from their school but in real terms we had entered another world outside their usual experience. It was a pleasure to be there to share seeing the things I take for granted through their eyes.
