Whelks and Weymouth

I didn't, and I doubt I'll ever eat, a whelk, but I had a good day exploring Weymouth yesterday (blipping this a day later, as I was a bit weak and weary on my return).

It was a day of coat-on, coat-off, scarf-on, scarf-off and hat-on, hat-off, weather-wise.  When the very welcome sun appeared, it was beautiful and quite warm, but when it disappeared, it was very chilly indeed!
