I haven't actually been out in the desert for some time so I thought with the weather cooling down a bit, I would venture out. The sun was still hot as it beat down on me, even at a mild 83F, and I went through a bottle of water in about ten minutes.

Tomorrow, a hat and more water. Maybe a little earlier in the day, too. Sometimes it's not the temperature when you're out in the desert, it's the intensity of the sun.
