Lambkins and their mothers

All the lambs are born and are enjoying the great outdoors.

Today was the first part of our TB test in the cattle.  All feeding and bedding up was done early so there was time to set the cattle crush up in the first pen and for the extra help to arrive before the vet turned up.  The new cattle crush worked well and was much safer than the old method, no one got kicked!  The vet did his job by injecting the animals in the neck.   They finished at 7 pm.   He will return on Thursday and the all the animals go through the same system again in order for the results to be ascertained.
