Over the Boatyard Wall

12.5C with long sunny spells. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had our walk round the harbour. The lock gate to the inner harbour was closed so we could walk round in a loop. The tide was very low with the water level in the outer harbour at less than a metre with the lock gate keeping the inner harbour at 3 metres depth. Twa Gordons of St Andrews registered as DE41 (Dundee) was on the boatyard slipway, so Maeve and I went up on the walkway on the inside of the harbour wall to get a shot over the boatyard wall. Slightly precarious but Maeve doesn't worry at all about being up on the stone walkway.

Before lunch we went out for a two mile walk.
Three games of six nations rugby for the afternoon's entertainment.
