Seagull

It's been a mizzly day today, constant fine rain and a fresh north easterly wind that has made it seem really cold. 
I went to Bawdsey Quay this afternoon, which was a waste of time really as there was no colour other than grey water, grey distant views over the water or grey sky.   I treated myself to a cheese scone and hot chocolate at the little tea room on the quay and as I walked back to the car I heard a commotion from some gulls trying desperately to fly against the wind.   I took several photographs, but liked this one as the gull is quite detailed and the turn of it's head shows his bright eye.
