Please trim this Tree/Bush/Plant

Someone's sidewalk plantings have gone a little wild (this is a raspberry bush) and are leaning over the sidewalk at about face/head height.  It made me smile that someone had taken the time to find a tag, type and print a label, and then come on over to tie it on the offending raspberry cane.  It's kind of sweet that they didn't just have at it with some shears, pretty typical of the neighborhood.

Husband worked most of the day, I could hear conference call voices from around the world echoing down the stairs.  I tried making some more t-shirt prints but with a different color inkodye - not as successful with this particular color.  I'll keep the t-shirts from today as my test fabric as I go forward trying out the other colors.

It rained for most of the morning but by 3 p.m. the sun came out, hubby's call ended and we went for a long walk.  A coffee and cake stop, we sat outside in the sun, at the next table was a group of policemen on break who were having a good grumble about some of the things they'd been dealing with that day.

Last week we watched the HBO documentary The Jinx about Robert Durst who was recently arrested.  It was fascinating and disturbing viewing.
