Buxton towers

(Backblip) After the gig instead of taking the shorter but uninteresting motorway route home we returned the pretty but much slower way - through the Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands.

The weather was beautiful and the route over the high passes was a mass of cyclists and cars which made progress somewhat slow!

We stopped at Buxton for a look around, it was lovely in the spring sunshine. It's an elegant spa town with fantastic Georgian architecture. I also enjoyed walking in the beautiful park complete with river and in the Winter Gardens Pavillion filled with plants.
