East Wray

Today I headed up the road towards Moretonhampstead as a change from turning off to Haytor. I felt sure in the evening light there'd be something for me. Eventually I turned of up a narrow little road and saw this copse through a gateway. Narrow lane, nowhere to stop, you know how it is. I found a wider gateway a bit further up the hill, dumped the van and walked back. 

I think it was worth it, I think it's a wonderful find. i wish I'd sped up the exposure to freeze the crows a bit better but never mind.
