As the petals surrender to the cool autumn breeze the exquisite detail of this fading cosmos is revealed - it is a flower within itself.
I could see stars at 6am but by 7am thick fog had descended over our small town. I was happy to have made the decision of not going to get the sunrise. The sun appeared bright and cheerful about mid- morning, in time for a cuppa in the garden, but by mid-afternoon she was gone again, in a hurry I think to give the northern hemisphere some warmth.
It was a day of sorting cupboards, going through piles of paper which mostly ended up in the recycling bin and getting rooms ready for Easter when our small family will come together once more - can't wait!
Thanks to BikerBear for hosting the flowerFriday challenge :)
Happy weekend everyone :)
