Streaky Sky Friday - 1000 Blips!

One Thousand Continual Blips. Interrupted only by lack of broadband for last two months.

You were expecting (or at least hoping!) for something a little special for such a significant landmark, now, weren't you??

Streaky clouds up at Old Sarum Hillfort with sunrise glow hinting in the distance. Weak moonlight is lightly illuminating those clouds, elongated by the 30 seconds exposure. Streetlight pollution also adds to a heady concoction of colour. A smattering of stars glittering too.

Your encouragement plus the practice and resourcefulness needed to Blip every day, HAS made me a better photographer. Your friendship means so much also. Thanks also to Joe and the Team - we haven't always seen eye to eye on everything, all the time but we do love this site and sincerely hope that it can storm the weathers. Blipfoto is probably what I actually wake up and get up for, believe it or not and those that know me will agree. Cheers guys (and girls).
