I'm on the cusp of finishing my pencil project. I'm not likely to see this part of it again as the build means it will be permanently glued into the barrel but I'm rather chuffed with the alternative method I came up with as I had to effectively destroy the one it had originally.

Now I just need a button and to put it all together.
