Peckleton Tree in the evening light

After a late night on Wednesday at the Star Gazing event, I had very little time of Thursday evening between work and going back out for the Photo Society meeting, so I managed to grab this shot of the tree at Peckleton under some more fabulous clouds which we just beginning to catch a bit of colour in the evening light. You can definitely tell that the days are lengthening now and spring is finally on it's way.

The talk was by Duncan Hill and was about Natural History, and there were some fabulous images of humming birds, and then the second half of the talk was about Duncan's solo trip to the Falkland Islands.
