I'm cured!

Honestly... I just can't help myself. Never knowingly leave a bad pun unmolested.

Anyway I've been pootling in the kitchen over the last few days - humdrum stuff like chicken roasting and bread and cake making and exciting stuff like this utterly ravishing beetroot cured gravlax and some fermented salsa.

My daughter is home from Uni for Easter tomorrow and I'm very much looking forward to seeing her. I can't believe she's nearly finished her first year. I dare say the cats will instantly abandon me and become permanently attached to her for the next three weeks - fickle and traitorous beasts that they are.
