Linton Market

Today was the village Easter Market organised by Gemma and the Linton kitchen. It is a great event although led to me drinking neat gin at 8:30 this morning.

The gin, which is produced locally, is excellent so we bought some. The olive oil was also great, we might have bought some of that as well. As for the Scorpion Chilli Sauce... eeeeeek so we bought a bottle of that.

All this and Blackstar Brewery (who make the Accelerants beer) and Steak and Honour... Brilliant. I think there were other people there but frankly I was overwhelmed by a combination of Limonchello and chilli.

The picture is Sam, who was helping in the Linton Kitchen.

The rest of the day has been a a bit full on as well. Mending and sorting all morning, including some death defying antics to take the kitchen extractor apart (and put it back together).

This afternoon has involved cutting the grass. The tractor started first time which was great, unfortunately it had a flat tyre which was a bit of a pain, all sorted now though.

Now to watch the clock until gin o'clock... tick, tock
