Time Travel

This is my favourite photo of my paternal grandparents. Best guess is that it was taken in about 1938.

I love how young they are. How they're in their Sunday best. How handsome they look.

I remember Nan well, as she died when I was in my 20s, but I have no memory of Henry who died far too young and when I was barely a toddler.

If I could have one wish, it would be to go back in time and meet him. See him before the war, before he was captured, before Changi.
