Beyond The Harp

I shall leave for the Leicester Bach Choir concert this evening in 15 minutes.

Here is a shot of the harp in the Bach Camerata orchestra who will be accompanying us.

It will be a splendid concert beginning with Vaughan-Williams' The Lark Ascending and then the choir joining the orchestra for VW's Flos Campi.

After the break, we shall be performing Herbert Howells' English Mass which is heard only rarely these days. We are very grateful to the Herbert Howells' Society for their generous support.

It's a truly magnificent piece of work. You should be there. St James the Greater, Victoria Road, Leicester, 7.30 pm. Tickets on the door.
