Song for coal

Ok, note to self.... when going on a blip meet... make sure you have a memory card in your camera... otherwise you won't be able to take any photos... and you will wail like a banshee... :(
LUCKILY...... 60plus had a spare memory card in her rucksack of 'everything that Lupes may have forgotten' .... YAY!!!! Disaaaaaaster averted!
This is an image of the Song For Coal video art installation at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park..   It quite transfixed us!  A kaleidoscope of such pretty patterns (you know what I'm like with pretty things and twinkly lights!) which depicted the 3 stages of coal... volatile, carboniferous and industrial... to the sound of a song explaining the such, in Gregorian monk chanting style....(yep I know - brilliantly weird!) we watched it half a dozen times... beautifully mesmerising!

A feast of blipingness..... 30 herons' nests with nesting and other shenanigans going on by the herons.. (another note to self... must get a zoom lens) and oh the prettiest Camellia house in full bloom I've ever seen!

Thank you 60Plus for a blipping lovely day :) xxxx
