Night out at the ball game

Tuesday
This evening we had reduced price tickets through Roger's work to the Cincinnati Reds baseball game down at the Great American Ballpark by the Ohio River. Laura came with us too. They weren't the best of seats - in fact they were right up at the top, but at least from up there you had a great view across the stadium to the river beyond, which made quite a nice picture especially when there was a riverboat cruising by. It was a lovely evening to be outside, and the Reds won against the Braves! The tickets also included a free hot dog and soft drink, and then, because the Reds had over 10 strike-outs in the game, we came away with more freebies too! They have a deal whereby you can take your ticket stub any time during the next week to United Dairy Farmers for a free scoop of ice cream and La Rosa's Pizza for a free small pizza! So we stopped for our free ice cream on the way home. A fun evening out!
