Mr & Mrs Mallard on the Ouseburn

I took the little camera with me on my jog through Jesmond Dene again today. I liked the "double V" wakes from these two Mallards on the otherwise remarkably still water.

I note that Mrs Mallard is following dutifully a little behind her "husband"...is this significant I wonder...?  ;)

My Editor thinks that it looks as if the ducks are swimming uphill(!) - probably because I was on a footbridge and pointing the camera down. We decided this effect was rather fun so I didn't apply any perspective correction.
