Building A Crane

The construction excitement never ends around here.  In addition to the huge residential tower being built just down Washington Street from our apartment, one of the old structures just a couple of blocks from us is being converted into a boutique hotel.  This morning, a big yellow crane is being assembled in the middle of the street, which of course is causing all sorts of traffic woes.  We've been watching the goings on for about an hour now, and not much seems to have been accomplished.  There's a great deal of standing around, coffee drinking, gesticulating, and kibbitzing, but that's about it so far!

Headed out the door back to Connecticut.
