MV Coruisk

pictured at Gourock this ferry is now finished its winter relief passenger only service to Dunoon. The Scottish Government funded this because of concerns that Argyll Flyer and Ali Cat struggle to cope with heavy winter seas and their services are often cancelled. Opinion is divided as to whether the money spent led to a significant improvement
Coruisk is designed with bow and stern doors as well as a port side ramp seen here in the open position for maintenance
Coruisk will now head north for its summer timetable service Mallaig to Armadale on Skye
